Cheerful daffodils

Cheerful daffodils

Quick and easy with layering stamps, a stamping tool (I used my Misti) and the right colours of ink. The printed background paper comes from a magazine of quite some time ago, but was perfect for the complementary purple I wanted to use to off-set the cheerful yellows. The two large banners were cut, using the fishtail banners die. The banners on which the sentiment was stamped, were cut by hand. Blue-green foiled friendship card

I foiled a chipboard element, using the GoPress & Foil machine and blue-green heat-activated foil. The metal shim was needed to heat the chipboard. Then I used the "left-over" negative that resulted from the first foiling to foil onto a piece of white cardstock. The foiled image was die-cut using one of the Crealies double-stitch circle dies. The circle was cut up into 4 pieces to position on the corners of the white card base. The sentiment was die-cut from a piece of thick cardstock. I wanted it to be of similar thickness as the chipboard element, so I used...

Small pink carnations

Stamp Heartfelt Creations small carnations with Artistry Fancy Fuchsia stamp pad. (I used all the sizes on one large acrylic stamp block and stamped 5 times so that I could have lots of flowers to play around with.) Die-cut the stamped flowers with the matching dies. Lightly ink the edges of the petals with blossom tree ink and a dauber. Add the most prominent colour with the beautifully rich Taylored Expressions strawberry milkshake. Add random dark streaks with Altenew Purple wine. Lightly spray the flowers at the back with a spritzing bottle. Put into Basics mould and run through your...

Purple flowers and silver foiling

I really enjoyed this project, combining Heartfelt Creations classic roses and the GoPress &Foil foiling technique. The printed background is a square cut from Kaisercraft Lilac Whisper range, mounted onto Curious metal silver ice card base. The flowers were stamped on shimmer cardstock in purple archival ink. They were coloured using a dauber and Taylored Expessions ink pads in Jelly donut , Lavender glaze and Artistry Fancy Fuchsia (towards the centres of the flowers). The flower petals were first shaped using the Basics mould from Heartfelt Creations, then shaped to form a cup using ball flower shaping tools and finished...
